The Bahrain Diabetes Society participated in the workshop organized by the Ministry of Social Development on 22 April, titled Enhancing Partnership and Integration with Civil Society Organizations and Exchanging Views on Best Practices in the Non-Profit Sector. The event was attended by H.E. Mr. Osama bin Saleh Al Alawi, Minister of Social Development, along with a number of chairpersons and board members of associations and institutions.
The Society was represented at the workshop by Vice President Dr Mariam AlHajeri, reflecting the Society’s commitment to active participation in national initiatives that contribute to strengthening the performance of civil society organizations and enhancing their role in serving the community.
The workshop served as an important platform for exchanging expertise and reviewing best practices, supporting the quality of civil society work, enhancing the sustainability of community initiatives, and reinforcing constructive partnership between official entities and civil society organizations.
The Bahrain Diabetes Society reaffirms its ongoing commitment to participating in national events that support the non-profit sector and strengthen its health and community mission.
